The Avalon a Vermont Bed and Breakfast and Vermont Inn that offers lovely accommodations in the Northeast Kingdom for those who just want to escape to Vermont..... Or for those who want to go FISHING! Island Pond has some of the best fishing in the entire state of Vermont. We are also the Snowmobiling Capital of the East! We are mintutes away from the Clyde River, Island Pond, Norton Pond, Lake Willoughby, Barton/Orleans River, and many excellent streams, rivers, and ponds. We are directly on the VAST trail, we have lots of parking, and a HOT TUB! Although, we don't have a restaurant and bar as of yet. There are several restaurants in the area depending upon your tastes and budget. We also can take you out on a guided fishing trip. In the winter we can arrange for you to rent snowmobiles to explore Vermont. We also sell VAST passes and your TMA stickers for your snowmobile. We offer elegant rooms for our guests, a FREE continental breakfast, YogaShape classes, fitness classes, and more! Queen size beds, 320 thread count sheets, feather pillows and quilts, Caswell Massey amenities, private baths in some rooms, antique filled rooms, and more. The Avalon a Vermont Bed and Breakfast also specializes in outdoor retreats in a safe, friendly, non-threatening group atmosphere. Most of our events are held in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
